Mid-Erie Opens Child Clinic and Early Recognition and Screening Program

Mid-Erie Counseling and Treatment Services is pleased to announce the opening of a Child Mental Health Clinic at 1526 Walden Ave, Suite 400, Cheektowaga, New York 14225. This is a full service location providing Adult Mental Health, Chemical Dependency and Child Mental Health services to adults, adolescents, children and their families. The Children's clinic opens on April 2, 2012. To make a referral please call (716) 895-6700.

Mid-Erie Counseling and Treatment is also pleased to announce the opening of the Early Recognition and Screening Program, funded through the New York State Office of Mental Health. This program provides free social-emotional wellness screenings for individuals 3 months to 21 years old and referrals and linkages to community based programs and services as needed. Program staff will also provide screenings and informational materials for community events. 	COST OF SERVICE Mid-Erie participates in most health insurance plans and accepts both Medicaid and Medicare. The insurance plans may cover the partial or full cost of treatment services. A sliding fee, based on income, might be available for people without health insurance.
